Saab 340B to operate our Sydney-London-Sydney charter flights

We are pleased to announce that our Sydney-London-Sydney charter flights for 2011 will be operated with a Saab 340B aircraft from the Sydney-based air charter company, Adagold.

This modern, fully pressurised, air-conditioned jet-prop airliner is the type currently used by regional airlines throughout the world and combines reliability with speed and comfort. Piloted by two experienced captains, the aircraft comes with a flight attendant as well as a Far Horizons tour escort who will accompany the journey in both directions.

Normally providing reclining seats for 34 passengers in a 2+1 configuration, for these journeys we are removing one row of seats and spacing out the remainder to provide extra leg-room. Additional space and comfort is achieved by using only the window seats thereby reducing the capacity to 20 passengers

Throughout each stage of the journey complimentary drinks and light refreshments will be offered from the hot and cold galley. The aircraft is equipped with a full-size toilet and the normal Business Class baggage allowance of 30kg will apply.
